How to use PriceOfUnit

Here's an overview over the apps' buttons, the grid's columns and some examples for entering calculations.

The number pad


The number pad is used to enter numbers into the selected cell of the grid.

The next button



Use the next button to skip between cells of the grid. You can tap a cell to switch the focus too.

The back button


Use the back button to erase the last digit you entered.

The clear button


Use the clear button to clear the value of the current cell.

The reset button


Use the reset button to reset the grid to it's default values.

The mail button



Use the mail button to send the values in the grid as e-mail.

The help button



Use the help button to display short instructions and navigate to the PriceOfUnit support web page.


The columns of the grid



#the row number
a1how many times (amount) the price was paid
pricethe price of something
-%possible rebate that will be deducted from price
a2items received for money paid (a1*price)*(1-(%/100))
unitsize of the unit
p/uprice of one unit (with size=1)

Examples


pay 1$ and get 1 item with size 1



pay 2 times 1$ and get 2 items with size 1



pay 2$ and get 2 items with size 1



pay 1$ and get 2 items with size 1 = one for free



original price 1$ with 20% rebatt and get 1 item with size 1 = pay 0.80 $



pay 1$ and get 1 item with size 0.5 = an item with size 1 would cost 2$
