WeekOtY.App - Week of the Year

Use this app to display the current week of the year on your iPhone or iPod touch.
The display also shows the first and last days of the week.
This app uses your devices' calendar settings.
Week counting and first/last days of the week depend on your devices localization.

Switch to the apps' other tabs and use a picker to find the starting an ending day's for an other week
or find the week for a specific date.

  1. Is there a way to have Monday as the starting day instead of Sunday?

  2. This depends on your current locale.
Most European States have Monday. US is Sunday.
In the next release, which is up the way - I'm adding a way to override the system settings.

  3. app seems to display incorrect week number. week 5 displayed when it's week 4. the 1-week shift must be related to the extra week we had in 2009. (week 53). please correct this issue. thanks

  4. Again, this depends on your locale. With a US locale 2009 had 52 weeks; In Europe - were the weeks are defined by an ISO standard - 2009 has 53 weeks; If your locale doesn't suite your needs you can override the settings. This can be done in app through the settings panel.
ISO Settings are: week starts on Monday and at least 4 days need to be in the first week of the year.
